Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground
The new log lodge, built in 2009, at Hungry Jack Lodge and Campground is considered by most to be the most up-to-date and impressive lakefront family resort lodge on the Gunflint Trail in northern MN. Boasting a 2 story cathedral ceiling on the upper level with views down the length of Hungry Jack Lake, the log lodge with it’s two story stone fireplace, has the rustic feelings of a true north woods lodge and yet has the most up to date features and amenities available for vacationing family resort guests.
The 2 story upper level of our lakeside log Lodge is comprised of our Fireside Dining Room, outside dining porch, a sitting and reading area, gift shop, business office, and kitchen. Upon entering the upper level of Hungry Jack Lodge your eyes will not know what to focus on first. Big game heads, antiques and relics reflecting the history of the region will all fight to draw your attention away from the magnificent view of Honeymoon Bluff at the east end of Hungry Jack Lake.
Lakeside dining and banquets
The picturesque view of Hungry Jack Lake and Honeymoon Bluff and the warm coziness of our dining room are there for the enjoyment and relaxation of guests and non-guests of Hungry Jack Lodge. With inside seating for 100 people our Fireside Dining Room offers the finest home cooking’ during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Additional outdoor seating is available on our 2nd story outside dining porch (weather permitting).

“Logger’s Lounge” bar and recreation room
The evening is when the lower level of our Lodge really comes to life. The Loggers Lounge bar and Game Room on the lower floor provides the place to gather for the latest fish tales and your favorite beverages. Appetizers, wraps, salads, burgers, and pizza are also available at the log topped bar or in the game room areas of our lakeside log lodge from 12 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily.
