Winter has arrived at Hungry Jack Lodge winter resort on the Gunflint Trail in 
Grand Marais, Minnesota. As you can see in the pictures that I took yesterday morning. We currently have around 8” of snow on the ground. We did receive about 3” of snow earlier this week here at Gunflint Trail winter resort. I do know that Grand Marais received about 4”+ Friday night. We are expecting to get more snow this weekend I will send out a report once the conditions change.
The snowmobile club has been out working on the trails to get them ready for the upcoming season. No grooming has started yet but if we get more snow we anticipate the trails will be started to be groomed, again I will let you know when this happens. We have a good solid 8”+ of ice here on Hungry Jack Lake. I have not had a chance to go out and drill another hole to see what the current conditions are.
