Fishing in this virgin wooded area is the best in the state offering, smallmouth bass, trout, northern pike and excellent pan fishing year round. Bait, boats, canoes, pontoon boats and more are all available for purchase/rental.

BWCA Visitor Information
Permits are required for all visitors of the BWCA, whether for a day or overnight. If you want to canoe, hike or fish in the BWCA, Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground will provide you with a free “day use” permit.
